Girl with brain cancer hides love notes to her parents

Just before her sixth birthday, Elena Desserich was diagnosed with brain cancer and given 135 days to live. She lived 255 days, passing away in 2007. After her death, Elena’s parents, Brooke and Keith, found hundreds of notes from Elena hidden around the house — in between CD cases, between bookshelves, in dresser drawers, in backpacks….

"It just felt like a little hug from her, like she was telling us she was looking over us"

The book and website.

I am crying OGO !

I am a dad and I have always wished all the sorrows which were to befall on my little ones to be diverted to me by the Lord.

( Hey, maybe the great Lord might be generous and have all our collective sorrows be diverted where it is needed most - Geithner/Bernanke/Pandit/Kashkari/ Blankfiend et al )

Was kicking myself for last 10 days for taking a loss on UPRO so I sold it for a small profit. God it is moves up or down by 5-7 points a day. Got some jan calls on FAS maybe too early?

They are showing dollars being printed ( excessively)on asian channels, along with news item of INDIAN GOLD PURCHASE. Maybe I am not so stupid with my maples.

Hmmm- RIMM you say?

I've been playing that--it swings like there is no tomorrow.

I've been trying to get some options on it--but the market makers never fill you
