Wall Street is starting to spend again


Bloomberg has some anecdoctal info that Wall Street is spending again.

Delmonico's steakhouse said Wall Streeter's are starting to spend again. Last week, he sold a $4,000 bottle of wine.

US Helicopter, which shuttles executives from Manhattan to JFK and Newark has seen an increase in traffic.

Cipriani Wall Street, which caters to Wall Street says business is up 15%.

According to Summit Express Car & Limousine Service Inc., the smaller financial firms are increasing their business: “They’re traveling, they’re entertaining, they’re going out. They’re actually doing more business with us than big firms. They’ve been doing very well.”

Pretty soon the green shoots will be a beanstalk!
