A New Zealand Church's idea of getting people to talk about Christmas

After a couple hours, it was doused in brown paint.

The vicar of St Matthew in the City Church said that the idea was to lampoon Christmas because "What we're trying to do is to get people to think more about what Christmas is all about."

Maybe only wise men  understand the majesty of the manger.

The magestry of the manger......More like the hostility of people when you interfere with their indulgence of the superstition of their choosing.
The whole birth story has been found by historians to be a total ripoff of ancient greek mythology concerning the birth of zeus. Mixed in are an assortment of royalty birth myths such as a star rising signaling the coming of a royal birth.

A rather simplistic opinion of the facts

Someone finding fault in the intended message by grasping for flaws in the messenger...

It must be hell being so smart, surrounded by a planet of vacuous, ignorant people looking to fill the voids in their life with something so insipid as faith.

As for me, I continue to rest in the majesty of the manger.

Merry Christmas Palmoni!
