Today Goldman announced that they were spinning off their prop trading---wait---didn't we hear that that would never happen? And another person that worked at Goldman is now going to disclose all their secrets.
Sorry, but I like Goldman, and I used to spend way too much time and energy bashing them. Of course, it may also be that I bought this number when it was cheap!!
They paid their $550 million, they got a slap on the wrist, and that's all the punishment our Government would dare mete out to them.
This bashing of Goldman is just getting old. The idea that Goldman is responsible for everything that is bad in the world, and Wall Street is just way over-rated.
It's time to pick a new villian!
