Today the fertilizer stocks are getting killed. POT, MOS and AGU are getting clocked. Yesterday morning, Goldman had a good piece on the problems in potash pricing, and the inventory growth despite the cutting of production. However, they kept their estimates and targets the same, but those reading the research knew that was the news to sell on.
Today it filtered through to the marketplace, as we saw other news from Germany on fertilizer pricing that wasn't good.
Goldman touted oil to $85. Isn't that the clarion call to sell oil also?
So is today any different?
And isn't the smart thing to sell BIDU into Goldman's pump?
