Well, who is buying China's junk now? When you get an economic slowdown, that turns into an economic collapse, people want to own things that don't need to be thrown out. Toys from China either break or get outgrown, so who needs this "junk?" Needs and wants change with the economic environment.
The other day, I was asking my six year old daughter if Hannah Montana was still popular. She said, with a little bit of bite in her voice "Yeh she still is, but she's soo rich."
Maybe Hannah Montana is just last year.
