Warren Buffett bags biographer

Here's the story:

A longstanding tradition of the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting has been the yearly dinner hosted by Alice Schroeder, who Warren E. Buffett chose to write his biography, “The Snowball,” which was published last September.

For over a decade, several hundred people gathered at a country club in Omaha, where Ms. Schroeder would pepper Mr. Buffett with questions.

But Mr. Buffett has canceled the dinner for this year’s meeting in early May, apparently because of his displeasure with some aspects of Ms. Schroeder’s 960-page encyclopedic best seller about his life....

When asked to describe their current relationship, Ms. Schroeder paused for a while before answering. “I’m trying to think of a good description,” she said. “We’re still in touch with each other. But now that the book is finished, it is not as frequent as before. You can conjecture what you want from that. I will not stop the conjecture.”

Anyone think it could be passages like this when Susie, Warren's wife, set him up with Astrid Menks?

Warren, who was incapable of functioning without female companionship, was desperate for affection ...Yet he was obviously still a lonely, miserable man who had been reduced emotionally to an eleven-year-old boy. He needed feeding. His clothes were a wreck...
(see page 454-455 of The SnowBall)

Why would Warren need Alice Schroeder? Now he has Becky Quik and Liz Clayman!

Anyone who has read the book "Snowball" would know that there are certain passages in that book that Buffett probably did not like and certainly didn't want revealed to the world.

Schroeder even gives some details on medical problems that Buffett has had.

I agree that Mr Buffett seems to have somewhat of an obsession with Becky Quik.

Shroeder should have left some of the National Enquirer stuff out, and put in more of this stuff:

"Basically, when you get to my age, you'll really measure your success in life by how many of th epeople you want to love you actually do love you."

She's now on the interview circuit. She's better with a pen, than in front of a camera!
