Liddy didn't get the "best and brightest" memo!

Even though he wrote it!

AIG's Liddy warned that "We cannot attract and retain the best and the brightest talent to lead and staff the A.I.G. businesses — which are now being operated principally on behalf of American taxpayers — if employees believe their compensation is subject to continued and arbitrary adjustment by the U.S. Treasury."

I specifically referenced this blog, because he understands the term "the best and the brightest!"

My perspective on the "best and the brightest" is here, which aptly sums up the fallacy of those that espouse these terms. It even caught Meredith Whitney! You should read it if you haven't!

But Liddy did get this memo--The letter from NY AG Andrew Cuomo!

After reading this, maybe Liddy should of learned to keep his mouth shut. But his mute botton didn't work.

And it will be the same result as in the below Xerox commercial.

Bye, bye bonus!
