Buy the market's "hissy fit"

If you assume that the FED will cut 50 basis points on Halloween, should you be scared that the market throws a hissy fit? Did you read the story of the 75 year old grandmother, who took a hammer to a keyboard, and knocked over a monitor at Comcast because the cable tech rep failed to show up to install her triple play?

A spokeswoman for Comcast, Beth Bacha said, "Nothing justifies this sort of dangerous behavior."

The police arrested her on a charge of disorderly conduct. She received a three-month suspended sentence, was fined $345 and is barred from going near the Comcast offices for a year.

She eventually got phone and television service from Verizon and Direct TV.

She said many people have called her a hero. "But no, I'm just an old lady who got mad. I had a hissy fit," she said.

So the market has a "hissy fit." I wonder if the sellers of stock walk on the other side of the street when the 75 year old grandmother walks by.

"Hissy fits" happens.
