Restaurant and retail stocks

Wall Street will soon have you believing that we're only going to eat at McDonald's and shop at Walmart. But if you are shopping for a REO home from Countrywide, you had better make your decision quickly before thinly capitalized CFC goes into BAC hands.

Brinker (EAT 16.81), Darden (DRI 23.45) JCPenney (JCP 37.55), Target (TGT 51.55) and Kohls (KSS 40.33) are all attempting to make a bottom at these prices. KSS lowered numbers yesterday, and Tiffany (TIF 40.32) cut it's outlook today.

They are all worth a trade on the big opening gap down.
