Imelda Marcus acquited

Imelda Marcos, the well-heeled and eccentric former first lady of the Philippines, is free to shop. A Philippine court acquitted former first lady Imelda of 32 counts of illegally transferring money abroad on Monday due to insufficient evidence. Yes, there was a paper trail in question, but the judge ruled the documents "were not authenticated and proved in the proper manner."
