The lady who was attacked by her friend's chimpanzee

She said she isn't bitter:

She said this on Oprah yesterday: "No, I don't ever think about it and there's no time for that anyway because I need to heal, not look backward."

She says she keeps her face covered up, so she doesn't scare people.

When Oprah asked her, how she was able to eat, she said that she only could drink through a straw. Oprah's reply, "At least it keeps your weight down."

And now--not a peep on that comment anywhere.

I put this story up yesterday, and then I took it down. And now I'm leaving it up.

Because Oprah's media company now says that they are unable to confirm her response.

  3. Reading about her I expect that since she lived with the chimp owner she felt obligated to act even though she feared that wild beast. Its always dangerous to feel obliged to someone. You make some poor decisions that way. You or I would have told the chimp woman to feed it herself. Second, in the interview, they did not mention the chimp owner at all. I have to think its because of ongoing legal actions.
